1. Service Agreement Acceptance

By submitting a booking request, scheduling an appointment, or allowing Desert Rat Detailing ("we," "us," "our") to perform mobile detailing services at your home, workplace, or designated location, you ("the customer," "you") agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. This agreement serves as a binding authorization for service at the provided address.

2. Mobile Service Authorization & Access

Desert Rat Detailing is a fully mobile, self-contained detailing provider. Our technicians arrive with their own water supply, deionized water rinse system, and professional equipment. You authorize our team to enter your property, driveway, or designated workplace to perform the requested services.

You agree to ensure reasonable and safe access to the vehicle being serviced, including any necessary gate codes, parking permissions, or community access arrangements. If access cannot be reasonably granted on the scheduled day, a trip fee may apply to cover the technician's travel and time.

3. Customer Responsibilities & Vehicle Condition

You agree to provide accurate information regarding your vehicle's condition, including any existing damage, pet hair, stains, water spot oxidation, oxidation, or sensitive surfaces. Pre-existing damage that is not disclosed cannot be reasonably addressed and may affect the outcome of the requested service.

You agree to remove all personal belongings, valuables, and loose items from the vehicle's interior prior to service. Desert Rat Detailing is not responsible for lost, damaged, or misplaced personal items left in the vehicle during detailing.

For RV, 5th wheel, motorhome, and sand rail services, you agree to disclose the vehicle's overall size, condition, and any delicate or aftermarket components so we can prepare the appropriate products, equipment, and time allotment.

4. Deionized Water & Spot-Free Guarantee

We use a professional deionized water system for our rinse process, which removes minerals and impurities to deliver a spot-free finish and prevent water-spot damage common in Arizona's high-heat climate. This system is used at our discretion based on vehicle condition and service level.

5. Pricing, Estimates & Payment

All pricing published on this website or provided verbally is an estimate based on standard vehicle conditions and the selected package. Final pricing is confirmed upon arrival and inspection of the vehicle. Heavily soiled vehicles, excessive pet hair, severe water spot oxidation, or other condition-related factors may require additional labor or add-on services and will be quoted before work begins.

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and approved digital payment methods. Any returned or declined payments are subject to applicable fees.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or where the vehicle or access is unavailable at the scheduled time, may be subject to a trip fee to cover our technician's travel and lost scheduling time. Recurring Maintenance Program members should follow the agreed program cadence for rescheduling.

7. Limitation of Liability

Desert Rat Detailing exercises professional care in the handling of every vehicle. However, our liability for any damage arising from detailing services is limited to the actual cost of the specific service performed, and in no event exceeds the amount paid for that individual service. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, undisclosed damage, defective or aged materials (such as failing clear coat, aged plastics, or degraded leather), or mechanical components.

Paint correction, ceramic coating, and restoration services are performed based on the condition of the vehicle at the time of service. Results may vary and cannot be guaranteed on heavily oxidized, previously repaired, or compromised surfaces.

8. Ceramic Coatings & Add-On Services

Ceramic paint sealant and other add-on enhancements carry their own performance characteristics and, where applicable, a stated coverage term (for example, a one-year ceramic sealant). Warranty coverage, if any, applies only to properly maintained vehicles and excludes damage from improper care, harsh chemicals, automatic car washes, or environmental contamination beyond normal use.

9. Privacy & Contact Information

Any contact information you provide — including name, email, phone, and service address — is used solely to schedule and fulfill your detailing appointment and to communicate with you regarding your service. We do not sell your personal information.

10. Agreement to Terms

By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Desert Rat Detailing Service Agreement, and that you are authorized to request service for the vehicle listed.
